The Plot: A picture book about a stuffed tiger cub named Pear, who wanted to live in a zoo. Pear and his owner (little girl) see a real tiger in the zoo. The tiger and his popularity among visitors impressed Pear so much that from now on he dreams of living in the zoo himself. The girl sees that her pet is unhappy and tries in every possible way to help him fulfill his dream: she asks the director to take Pear to the zoo, and after refusing, she helps him sneak to the tiger after closing. Pear meets a real tiger. The tiger says that the zoo is not so much fun, he is tired of all these people with their attention, in fact he really misses the jungle and freedom. Pear realizes that life in the zoo is not at all what he wants. He is already happy with his beloved girl.
At first sight, a funny story about a stuffed tiger cub in a zoo raises questions about the life and freedom of animals in the zoo, envy, self-discovery, feelings of inferiority, self-doubt (when you are different from others). The book shows that some things are not what we think at first glance, and also that sometimes we do not notice the happiness right under our noses and do not appreciate what we have.
